Soy meats taste great but they also have questionable amounts of phytoestrogen, best plant protein comes from hemp, whole grains, nuts beans lentils etc. You can make a huge batch of your own veggie burgers for pretty cheap, make the flavors ourtstanding and just put the surplus in the freezer

I must confess I like a good organic ground beef cheeseburger. Someone has to slit the throat of the cow. We end up buying it neatly wrapped and priced but it is from the long chain of eat meating going back to early human survival. So the guy doing the throat slitting is doing it so we don't have to. I'm not a troll though. If we have to reduce beef I'd be willing to go along for Gaia. Rainforest destruction is more important than good burgers.

this is why i only eat halal its not tortured before its killed. i wont give up meat for anyone but i respect those who dont eat meat just as i do the people who dont smoke i dnt smoke infront of them im ok changing my lifestyle for a breif moment to not make someone else unesy! this torture doesnt happen everywhere
