[APH] I Can... (UK-centric AMV)

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION FIRST!

When I first heard this song in the Eurovision, the first thought that came to mind was "USUK!!!" I don't agree with this pairing myself but this song was ideal, in my opinion, to reflect England's state of mind after America left him. Feeling down and out, but remembering that he is THE British Empire. He's not some weak, soppy, namby-pamby weakling; he's an ex-pirate! He's the "Empire where the sun never set". If he gets knocked down, then he'll pick himself up, brush off the dust and carry on. That doesn't mean though that he forgot the pain; it's always there in his heart. But he plows on regardless, knowing that he CAN pull himself out of this hole and that hopefully, one day, he'll be able to have the old relationship he had with America back.

I made this AMV with the US-UK family relationship angle, but you can take it as you wish.
