To Universal Music Group Re: Weezer's Pork & Beans Video

UMG removed embedding on their original Pork and Beans video. As a blogger who talked about how awesome the video was, I was disappointed when the embed link was removed because it ended up creating a blog post that lacked content. I explain the ramifications of this in my video and ask the guys at UMG to have a conversation with me. I know this particular video doesn't infringe on copyrights so you can't dispute this one, but I do hope we can actually discuss this as I tried to contact you regarding the matter to no avail. I don't have malicious intentions with this and the previous video. All I want is to talk to you. Thank you for your time.

You really think UMG cares about what you think? This is big buisness and if blocking a few blogers and taking down some you tube videos saves them money theyre gonna do it they couldent give two shits about what you think or want. i have 11 of their albums, singles, EPs, exc. ,1 vinyl 12", 2 Vinyl 7". And you have 2 copies of the blue album and call yourself a huge fan? You Talk too fast. and, there are pleanty of copies of the video all over the place.

As I said I had a lot more Weezer albums (but this was the stuff I had on my desk), and yes, I talked fast so that I can get everything said within YouTube's 100MB limit. Thanks for your incredibly constructive criticism.

Yes, it was sarcasm. This isn't a contest about who is a bigger Weezer fan or not. This is addressing the fact that UMG is showing consistently that they don't give a damn about how this impacts the end user -- you and me.

(But yeah, I couldn't say what I needed to say in 100MB, so I had to talk fast. I really don't in general.)
