  • Woah man, how much oil to you put on that bow? Or does it run on gasoline?

  • @creis90 mi incanta...

  • @rozzanttyuk It is AMUSA violin for AMEB

  • @rozzanttyuk

I learned Kabalevsky Violin Concert when I was 10, and I'm going back to it right now for a competition, so I believe it varies.

But I love this peice, very strong, powerful, and fun to play!

  • @rozzanttyuk associate it is. I'm learning it

  • i wonder what grade is this?? :)

  • i think this is played to nicely and lightly. i think of this movement being sort of strong not nice. but different people have different interpretations of it.

  • It is NOT Oistrakh, big mistake to say it's him. Listen to this and then this--> Kabalevsky: Violin Concerto in C Major, Op. 48, I - Allegro molto e con brio

THAT is Oistrakh. HUGE differences between these two violinists.

  • @malikrox I still doubt its Oistrakh. The scale run at 0:16-0:17 seem way too uneven and sloppy, while the arpeggiated passage in 0:46-0:51 is just... not Oistrakh =\

Besides, Oistrakh only made two recordings of the Kabalevsky, both in 1949; the sound quality of this recording seems way too recent.
