I had two hermit crabs... one died. A different hermit crab was in the alive hermit crabs shell. Then i figured it out- one of the hermit crabs killed the other to move into his shell. i hate that hermit crab

The hermit crabs can not eat each other I have 4 hermit crabs and nothing happens

My hermit crab is changing shells RIGH- Oh...wait...nope he was climbing over it...dang it....anyways bought him some shells today AND took his painted shells and removed the paint...Almost good as new!!! I just wish He would get out of that toxic painted shell >.<

Umm..wheres its water dish, salt water dish, and food dish? And maybe u should buy another hermit crab so he can have a friend. Plus that cage is too small and doesnt hold the right amount of humdity it needs. Plus more extra shells whould be great..

His real place is much bigger and has all of the above, we just moved him away from other crabs so he can have some privacy getting a new shell. His friend grab is also there, and one reason we moved him was to prevent him from harassment
until he gets into his new shell.

We had two crabs, we just moved this guy into separate box so he can
get into a new shell without being bullied by the other guy, who is bigger and
meaner.
