Funny how you don't mention how certain states in the USA, the richest per capita nation on earth, have a higher child mortality rate than Cuba and Palestine. Or how ,many billions of dollars American bankers had to steal from the ordinary working Americans to bail them out. The countries which have achieved the best standards of living for their ordinary citizens are social democracies like the Scandinavians. You are the rich, as usual, looking after the rich. S.x.

This bill has real teeth being under control of the IRS which has its own courts of law and works outside Constitutional law.

The point is that Americans pay more for their health care than any other nation on earth with significantly worse outcomes than most other Western countries and several developing nations. Oh - and I think the USA is finally paying the bill for its rapacious thieving bankers and fighting wars of doubtless legality and total ineffectiveness in Asia. @7475flyersfan That's not the government deciding who lives and who dies, is it? The judiciary is separated from the legislature and the executive powers in any democracy worth its salt. It's pure fox news to label it as a "government option" because it implies the government get to decide who gets treatment (it's still a private insurance system), which simply isn't true.
