hey, in this video, im showing what you can easily do with hydrogen!
Hydrogen is an amazing Drums machine avaliable for Linux.
Ive tried thousends of drum machines, non-free ones, etc. But ill always came back to hydrogen!!
In my point of view, its a lot better than those windows drum machines over there, (and believe me,i ve tried a lot of them).

So here it is!
Enjoy!!

  • what samples are you playing? I'm trying to find better samples than the standard ones. Nice work!!

  • @music4linux cool

  • @IndieBudgetMovie Yeah, I use a bit of cinelerra, it has the ugliest GUI I've seen but it's good. I'm waiting for Lightworks to release it under linux on late 2011. But I use a lot of After Effects and there's nothing close to it in linux. Blender can do some things about video compositing but it's not close to after effects (and there's no reason for it to be, because it's a 3D modelling app!), it's getting better and better though. Cheers

  • @MaghoxFr Cinelerra is a pro-level NLE. Easier than Blender.. however learn both and you will have some pwerful tools

  • @4plus2minus0 the only thing keeping me in windows are some video editing software, I'm not a big gamer but PES 2010 is awesome, I'm planning on the deffinitive migration to linux when I learn blender.

  • @MaghoxFr me too.. but I must keep my laptop under Windows because i'm really big on gaming
