Ha, Zao - we would like to know what you thought they were? Capitalists? Of course the Khmer Rouge were socialist but they are the closest example of the Communist State withering according to Marx who they followed. And look what it got us? Socialist - National Socialist - International Socialist - InterNazis! We true anarchists will have nothing to do with it! Down with Bakuninism! Well the Khmer Rouge was hardly communist, in actual communism their is no state. I'm not a communist but im an anarchist, just defending the truth.

Pol Pot declared at the installation of his Khmer Rouge regime that it had turned 'Year Zero', meaning that time had historically begun again. The attack on Pol Pot by Biafra and the Dead Kennedys demonstrates that all anarchists hate the Communist Left as much as they hate the Fascist Right in politics. The song is also a comparison of the softness and hypocrisy of our own society which also had a hand in the Cambodian nightmare...
