He is news anchor, terrorism expert, and security analyst who regularly participates in international conferences and hosts a popular political talk show on Geo TV with the name of Capital Talk. He was banned from TV by the military regime of General Pervez Musharraf in 2007. He was again banned by the Zardari-led PPP government in June 2008. Hamid Mir is the only journalist to interview Bin Laden after 9-11..

In this interview he exposes how the Pakistani Army Operation is not targeting the real militants in Waziristan as the Army fears its own casualties..It has put up this show only to impress the Western govts involved in this 'War of Terror' and ensure more aid flows to them..He explains the Army is killing only innocent farmers and targeting their lands just to show the number of 'Talibans' dead and get more dollars in return..

@Ahmad12791 LOL! We are so worried about Indian opinion that we don't bother about the opinion of our own people..Be it Bengalis, Balochis or Pashtuns..Same arguments were used during 1971, and the result is for everyone to see..

You may have few friends who still love Pak Army, but what about these TTP people like Baitullah, Nek Mohammad, Hakimullah, Muslim Khan etc? These are Pakistanis too aren't they?
