a wah with a difference, no huge box and treadle, no pot to wear out, and fits lovely on a board...this wah has a light sensor with adjustable sensitivity for different light conditions, flip the switch and it becomes an auto wah, but has a depth control, for faux tremolo/phaser type sounds too...

  • hi mate, i just bought his pedal off ebay. I accidently put my 18v suply trugh it, ow its stopped working? is there anything i can do???

  • @anfff oh dear!....it was never designed to take 18v, neither will the ic's in it..or leds... :(

you could try this...not guaranteed, but maybe worth a try ok.

the chips/ic's in it are called 'TL072' op amps , available from maplins, you could try taking the chips out, (they are in sockets, use a tiny screwdriver to lever them out ok)

and put the new ones in....but i'm pretty sure all the leds will be fried too...hmmm...

try that and we'll see how it goes ok...rob.

  • @100roberthenry ive managed to get the auto wah working, unforunatly the sensor doesnt work but im fine with that!

Also would it be possible to build me a pedal? let me know on anf_1986@hotmail.co.uk

    Cheers

  • @anfff glad you got it going, which pedal would you like?..

  • This looks awesome! Does the sound change at all in different lighting conditions?

  • @KepFX , no, there is a light sensitivity adjustment pot, ive had it working in bright sunshine...and normal house lighting...when dark i just flip the auto on....or adjust the sensitivity to be a cocked wah/treble booster!...
