@MsEmaleigh I actually thought of it from a video that I saw on here on youtube ... I can't link it here, but it's linked on my post from today ... babes in hairland dot com /2011/05/figure-8-braid dot  html (you'll have to fix the URL and put the actual "dots" in!) I mentioned in my video that I'd seen it done with ribbon & that is the video I was talking about. Thanks though.
