A music-video collaboration between Victor and Eduard, to celebrate and showcase Victor's upcoming CD...
VICTOR'S MUSIC NOTES: "Desert Stars" was inspired by an episode on a drive through Arizona. Some time late at night I pulled off the highway, and pretty quickly I was totally alone with the desert night sky over me. The number of stars visible was more than I've ever seen before, to the point that I couldn't find the normal constellations: they were completely drowned in that sea of stars. The music here depicts some of that infinite heavenly carpet.
This composition will be part of my CD, to be released later this year. See http://www.oakensong.com
EDUARD'S VIDEO NOTES: After hearing Victor's pairing of electronic synths with his playing of a real native American flute, this scene of dusk slowly revealing the night sky and falling stars filled my brain. So as usual, I brought up my trusty POV-Ray renderer and built the scenes I saw in my head... a mixture of alien and familiar. I hope this adds to your enjoyment of Victor's music, and do go get his CD when it comes out!
Great mix of talents! Great work guys!
