This is a homebuilt Depron-Glider, powered by a hobbyk. 7gr. outrunner and a 2-cell 200mAh battery. Wingspan is 120cm and overall-weight 100gr. including the battery.
It's controlled by elevator and rudder.
I modified the wing-profile a few days after this clip was shot so that it can be flown more dynamically. (Video will be available soon)
It's ideal to be flown in the evening after a sunny day, shortly before sunset, especially when you have a flat-top building near your flying-field - a flying-time of up to 45 minutes with 5 min. of motor-use is realistic!
It's a self-design, unfortunately I don't really have too many details, because the plane had a fight with a blackbird (a feathered one ^^) and lost its tail in midair.
But I can send you detail-pics of the wing and a sketch of the tail-section (which actually is the tricky part in building it). Send me your normal e-mail address via youtube!
