A tip; from stop (red light), hold the control at the end-stop,(the mechanism whirrs away), the whistle will start, keep holding it across but let go THE INSTANT THE WHISTLE STOPS - this is what I call "the bite pont" - it's like the point on a car when you are holding it on the clutch. From here just do quick flicks in the same direction you were going, watch for movement, and after around 5 flicks (coulb be 2 or 3, might be 7 or 8) she'll start going slowly. Each extra flick speeds her up.
