Dr Amen, treating all depression the same invites disaster

Having done nearly 50,000 brain scans, psychiatrist Daniel Amen, MD notes that there are 7 different types of depression, each requiring different treatments. Treating all depression the same invites disaster, he notes.

But a long time ago, I realized that not everyone can get a [ brain ] scan.

So based on thousands of scans, we developed a questionnaire to help people predict what their scan might look like if they can get one.
