How is the No Child Left Behind Law effecting the atmosphere in our schools with its over emphasis on testing? This humorous video made independently by author/teacher Barry Lane describes it well. @MagicalSix and I understand I suffer because of this as well, but I tend to care more about less fortunate people more than myself. I have a sibling in public schools. I went to public schools but was able to drop out and learn the cold hard facts myself, but I am a rarity.

This is so disturbing. All it took was to read the title of this video and to look at the center freeze and it killed me inside to know that that little girl has to suffer because of corrupt ASSHOLES who just happen to be in CONTROL of EVERYTHING. Thumbs up if you can comprehend.

@16technokid the flowing water must then find another course ... I feel no sympathy for people who do not feed their children and complain when they are starving ... it is a simple matter of cause and effect ... there is little debate in an enlightenened population outside of how to correct this problem ... one school of thought is to forcefeed the children and the other is to remove them from this institution ... if you are someone who desires neither, you must learn to feed your own children

@16technokid I have learned more in my life by reading books and listening to others speak than I had ever learned in school so I propose parents take active involvement in the lives of their children once again instead of relying on an institution to do their job ... this idea that people are not responsible for the failed development of their own children is simply ignorance of reality ... collective humanity moves as water ... and building a damn will halt that flow to a trickle ...

@pyramidheadkitten9 this is not a problem of the children, it is a problem with the parents ... people who believe that an education is not important teach that to their children ... while I do not agree with you completely, I do not disagree with you ... I believe the students with no desire to learn are the majority and the ones with higher potential of intelligent thought begin to gravitate towards this collective mindset ... the souring of the vine so to speak ...

ive seen how children are, especially in more urban areas. they dont want to pass anything. they just sit there, most of them of them would rather be out of school . and you know what? most of them will never become anything successful in life. best job they will get will be a bag filler at walmart. i say expel those kinds of children. theyll be happy they dont have school, our schools wont be sucked dry of money, and they wont be a distraction to better students.

Love it, no bathroom, no books, sit nicely and do the test! No nose blowing! So true.

Education in this country went down the toilet when the Federal Gov't got involved. Another example of Washington over-stepping "States" rights.
