Part 3 of a What's On special by Granada TV about Buzzcocks and Magazine, broadcast on July 27, 1978 and presented by Tony Wilson.

After this is a performance of "Love You More" by Buzzcocks which is already on youtube so I've skipped that part.

Music is reaction to it.It is what people create in response to to crap, hence what came out of detroit, from motown, iggy pop, metroplex /detroit techno etc.

Britain music is a response to british conditions, it is a clever dirty protest(rememember the way IRA prisoners fought back)

It's odd how John McGeoch (Magazine's first guitarist) went on to play for Siouxsie and the Banshees and they had a song called 'Cascade'. Hm..
