  • what kind of bow are you using btw if you don't mind

  • @punkghetto1 - Hoyt X-tec - i think - i don't shoot that bow anymore - i mostly use a PSE x-force and have recently started messin around a little with a Mathews Z-7. However, my first pick would be a faster bow that is somewhat forgiving and would allow me to use one pin 0 to 40 - the only one i personally have had any luck with is the PSE X-Force.

  • It seems as if you hit a lot of these deer in the shoulder, is this intentional, if so do you have a specific reason for this?

  • @bolich16 - shoulder shots are never intended. I try to only take high percentage shots. When one trys to place a broad head slightly behind the shoulder the margin for error is high. All of the deer shot on this video expired out quickly and were all recovered.

  • Awesome was that a string attached to your arrow?

  • @TexanHunter308 - yes - it's call a game tracker - fyi - not recommended - the string significantly alters the arrow flight

  • wow it's incredible that the deer can react before the arrow even hits it.

  • @sporksrockk 40 lbs at about 20 yards is my maximum shooting distance from my tree stand

  • @greatsantini7 How many lbs draw back are you using & at how many yards?

  • @ShepsAlmighty in some areas, rifle hunting is illegal. Even where rifle hunting is permitted, there is generally a season for rifle hunting and a season for bow hunting. We don't get a rifle season at all, but we can go out of county and do it. Bow hunting is harder than using a rifle. The extra challenge is part of the excitement! That's why it's called "game." Unfortunately, some run off and die where you can't find them, so it's a waste. But you can track them with dogs. Hope this helps!

  • wow , nothing like a bow hunt, nothing like watching a impact by an arrow..see some of them arrows going straight out the other side..

     bow hunts are the best.

    thanks for the vid.

  • thats some good shootin great clean shots nice job

  • yes all awesome shots

  • What pound draw at you shooting I have 50 and can't get a pass through at 20 yards

  • why bow hunt? seems like a slower death for the animal and harder (as you have to get closer) then a rifle round through the heart...

genuine question not hating or whatever

  • omg the shots are great
