On this date in 1966 {Jan. 29th} "I Fought The Law" entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; it would eventually peak at No. 9 and spending a total of 11 weeks in the Top 100!!!

@ChrisYonts They didn't he was found dead in his car his death was ruled a suicide or accident by the medical examiner, however some people believe he was murdered by Charles Manson. There has been a lot of theories on his death but the FBI was never involved.
