  • is your eotech a short or taller version? I'm wondering which lines with the magnifier.

  • @marksman9939 I can't seem to find it. You mind messaging me the link?

  • @eyanvenom Okay, a quick review is posted. Thanks for watching.

  • @marksman9939 Also, what is your pivot mount called? It looks a little different than the ones I'm familiar with.

  • @marksman9939 Thanks for all of your responses. I would definitely appreciate a video taking a closer look of the flip mount's function. If you think it will be beneficial to other youtubers as well then please, go for it!

  • @eyanvenom Actually, there is no spring. It is a slotted base that two ribs on the magnifier attachment slide into. It does not fall into place but can be re-positioned very quickly/easily with one finger. Keep in mind this is a low-tech slide to the side mount. I could post a quick video of funvtion but it might take a few days......if needed.

  • @marksman9939 I actually meant flipping back into magnified position, not unmagnified. Is the spring sturdy enough to hold the unmagnified position in place if you were holding the gun its direction?

  • @eyanvenom I really don't jump around enough to test this. I haven't had it move while running since it requires two seperate movements to flip up and slide lock over into place.

  • @marksman9939 I'm stuck between EOTech's flip mount and a few of its competitors. Has your magnifier flipped back into place, say if you were holding the rifle sideways or making any rapid movements?

  • @eyanvenom Yep, I agree. Yardage dots would be a nice touch. I shot various distances last weekend and guessed a bit without additional dots. I went from 3/4 inch at 100 yds to about 2 1/2 inch groupings out to about 250 yds. If pricing isn't an issue go with multiple range dots but either way this EoTech is amazing and with a flip to the side magnifier, both close-up and long range accuracy is extremely quick and easy. Let me know what you go with and upload a video of your results!!!!
