In this video, you can see my home build jet bicycle based on a cummins VT-50 turbocharger, when it is running purely on diesel. My previous video showed this machine during startup and now it is running.
From making the plans until now, it took me about 5 months, but mostly I have only time in the weekends, so 95% of all the work was done in the weekends. Before I build this large one, I builded a smaller one as well. This small one was used as a test object, to understand the principles and to try verious designs. That costed me also 5 months or so.
Hopefully soon, I had some minor problems with this run as well. I had a small fuel leak, no rpm gauge yet and the oil cooling capacity was to little, so it ran pretty hot after a few minutes. When all this is solved, I going to drive it. (hopefully in the coming 2 weeks)
