A smudge tool in Photoshop can be used to create a lens blur effect and to blend certain aspects of a picture. Merge colors in Photoshop with the use of a smudge tool with help from a graphic and Web designer in this free video on Photoshop.

  • Nice tutorial. I still can't get the smudge tool to blend in the colors. For example you made a few ugly lines to color, lets say, a mountain, and want to blend in those lines. I always end up mixing the whites in :( Any idea or tuto on how to blend well with smudgy?
