Coach Nick compares and contrasts how Kevin Durant and Kevin Love can both dominate their game between the Timberwolves and the Thunder, but in completely opposite ways. For the interview with me: http://allaccesssportsnetwork.com/bas...

"Kevin Durant is one of those players that relies on supreme athletic ability. It's God given talent. He's got an incredible wing-span & he's got an amazing amount of speed & jumping abilty .... That cannot be said for our next player we're focusing on, Kevin Love" LMAO

How much of this analysis showed Durants dominance was due to his "supreme athletic ability"?The majority of it showed it was due to his shooting &movement.Durants shooting ability isnt God given. If his athletic ability was God given his mom wouldnt have made him do push ups sit ups & run hills as a teenager literally all hours of the day&night. The same things used to be said about Magic & Bird.1 was portrayed as being "naturally talented" whilst the other smart & hard working. This needs to stop

Sit ups and push ups? What are you talking about? Didn't you see that during the NBA combine before he was drafted, Durant could not do 5 push ups? His god given ability is his incredibly long wingspan - I'm pretty sure his mom didn't stretch him on a rack growing up - and that he can jump very well.

Its a racial trait. Slavery has nothing to do with it. Its the same as why they have a dark skin color. It's a trait that is common in their race. Same as whites being white-skinned.

So true, black guys are just athletic because of all those years slaving. It's an unfair advantage. White people are hard working and intelligent players.

I really like your breakdowns and everything but that statement about KD was ill-concieved. You edit like 10 of his jump shots/3's and say he relies on supreme athletic ability.. He is athletically superior but also has an AMAZING(best in the world IMO) mid range/long range game (ofc the wingspan and height help with his shots not getting blocked)... you can't just put him in the same 'class' as e.g. Blake Griffin who literally relies only on athletic superiority.

Shaq shot under 50 percent for his whole career, dwight and javale magee all shot under 50 percent from the freethrow. Although he may not be quick lateral he is fast sprinting up the court.

KD does not make 3's almost 100% of the time. Nearly every 3 he took in the Olympics this year was WIDE open and he shot ~52% (which is damn good but not anywhere near the average NBA players FT%). Love is not quicker than most PF, he may seem quick because he grabs a lot of loose balls but that's because of his motor and savvy. He is by no means quick even for his own position it's easy to see when he's forced to guard perimeter players and hedge PnR, but he does look pretty strong.

First of all When he is open he shoots threes almost 100 percent of the time. A free throw is wide open. Secondly compared to power forwards he is quicker than most and stronger and I got my eyes checked a few days ago thank you very much.

Ray Allen's jump shot isn't god given but he was obviously never able to be a 3x scoring champ and absolutely dominate the league. Steve Kerr was second to none when it came to pure jump shooting but there was no way he was going to be able to score 20+ points a game. KD does not shoot 3's better than most people shoot free throws lets not get carried away. If you think K. Love is quick (compared to other NBA players) you need to get your eyes checked.
