While in Paris I set out to make a documentary about Jean-Paul Sartre for a class, and I never really completed the task. I've now scraped together the bits of footage. Sartre once said, "Believe in yourself and you will go far", "There is no such thing as a bad dream", "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?", "Prey fore your elders", and, most famously, "E pluribus unum," so I tried to get all that in. And then there is Edith Piaf harping that epic protest against the Nothing that she regrets even though she pulled herself up out of Belleville by her bootstraps. Appearances by Olivier, Viktor, tourists, locals and the man himself. Whoocha! Thats about as much as a man can take.
