With almost a year and a half under its belt, the once fresh and relevant Palm Pre is clearly beginning to show off its age as we've seen it slowly becoming more of a distant memory than anything else. Happily, HP Palm recently unveiled their followup successor with the Palm Pre 2 which has some notable improvements under the hood with its updated webOS platform.

  • Good changes from the first, but I still prefer Android OS to all others.

  • Apple needs to make a THEMESTORE - just like the appstore

    (Thumbs up this if you agree!)

  • So, is this newer then the Palm Pre Plus? PLEASE help i need a new phone fast D;

  • @The29thStreet Why the hell would you buy a smart phone without internet...

  • Ilove WEb Os! I like small phones w keyboard. I'm gettin this one. i dont care what other say about Droids!!

  • @TheTechCentury Agreed! :D

  • @greenscreeningthings Palm WebOS 3.0 (With a re-designed UI), iOS App Store, HTC Phone Hardware, Super AMOLED + Super High Pixel Density, and a dual core Cortex A9 on a phone would be HEAVEN!

  • @2fast4uspartan Actually, I have larger than "average" hands and I had a terrible time typing on the keyboard, @ first, but after using it for +4 months, I have really gotten used to it, and now I can't type on a BlackBerry or any other smartphone keyboard because my fingers are so used to the Pre keyboard. :D

  • Have they sorted out the 'sharp' bevel the original Pre had on the slide-out keyboard?

  • @The29thStreet its a smartphone, so probably not.

  • Question:

    Is this phone worth buying if I'm not planning on using internet?
