Samah El Shahat is a truly awful presenter! She spoils what is otherwise a great programme. Sorry, but she talks in a really funny way and is very wooden. Once again, a great film though. The UK should not have handed over the colony.
Excellent and timely coverage, not only an example of the chaos created when the UK washes it hands of a colony, but an example of the illusion of the one country, two systems policy. The average Hong Kongers have a more complete understanding of political machinations and process than some of the best educated members of the PRC. And HKs act on such knowledge! It's inspiring. I only wish my students had enough curiosity to get interested in what's happening across the border in their country.
