  • Can only agree that this has been one of Soltis best works... I have the LP only.... Wonderful and the solist are all very good! Sexy Leontyne with sexy Vickers and Gorr ......! THANK U FOR THIS GREAT POST

  • One of Solti's finest recorded achievements; everything sounds so "right" in this entire recording, and the cast has never been surpassed. Kudos to the sound engineers, too; this is one of early stereo's triumphs, with marvelous spatial achievements. I even hear the distances on YouTube!

  • Atmospheric, lush, and suspenseful. In my opinion, the best recording of AIDA.
