  • Who is the composer of this song?

    W.A. Mozart or Bernard Fliess?

  • Although it is called "Wiegenlied by Mozart", B. Flies is considered as the composer nowadays.

  • Can you say "Milli-Vanilli"? They're lip synching. That does not make the sound bad, oh no! This is great singing. And the lip synchers might well be the boys who actually recorded the song. See boy on right at 2:48.

  • The boys in the video were members of WSK in 1964, the song was originally recoerded possibly in 50s, and the video was filmed in 1964. Yes, it is lip synching. Thank you for pointing out. But it is beautiful to watch them together though.

  • I have seen this same video several times on Classic Arts Showcase and they list it as being filmed in 1948.

  • Does anyone know the names of these singers and what they did in later life?

  • @petekurt That's interesting, but are you sure? They don't look too similar to me.

  • Excellent recording. The second soloist is superb! Thank you for sharing.

  • Awesome, ganz toll !

  • The dark-haired boy soloist on the right was in the movie "Cabaret" singing in the scene "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" (he must have been about 20 years old by then) but you can easily tell it's him ... don't know what his name is, though ...
