5 Facts in 50 Seconds or Less - and the intro doesn't count! ;)

Oh the rules also require to tag 1-5 people. So I tag:

Uh... and everyone else who wants to do a response! :)

  • lol, I actually smiled at the title because I didn't think you could say enough in 50 seconds! :P

I like the accent and I didn't get fact no.2 even after I played it twice!

hehhehee.. hmmmmmmmmmmm danke fuer der tag? die tag? das tag?

  • Hi kitty! :D

    > I didn't get fact no.2 even after I played it twice!

Sorry. ;) I tried some black ghetto guy slang accent (not very good I reckon though).

What I say is that I published 12 CDs with the music I made in the last 12 years, but in 1.5 years sold only one so far.

    > danke fuer der tag? die tag? das tag?

Du Tag? ;) *ggg* Just kidding. It's Danke für den Tag [from der or das Tag, there's no official translation for German], or Danke für das Taggen.

  • yay thank you for making this,i loved it:)))i also invented my own language when i was younger, but i didn;t have any rules,i just had the alphabet and well i was the only one that could speak it ,but i hardly knew what i was saying:)))

  • Well, I always had secret scripts, but for a language I had only little little pieces and ideas that I wanted to use in a science fiction novel. (That I still intend to write! I make notes since I'm 12... that's 20 years now... probably I will not start writing it before I'm 40 or so...) But when I learned more about linguistics, I started toying around, and in doing-by-learning I created the first draft of Lina. And keep working on it from time to time.

  • You're cute! What's the name of the language you created..and how does it work?

By the way I always make resolutions like yours "I will get up earlier, I will work more, I will not go on Youtube more than once a week..." but evidently I'm not so good! ^__^

  • Thanks, err, you too! :)

The language is called Lina. It uses an a-priori grammar (which means it is fully engineered as opposed to copying from other languages), but with the vocabulary I take word roots preferably from Italian, then from German or English, and only make up few.

I'll post a link in the video description. (A Dutch linguist friend of mine once asked me to write a tutorial.)
