What your mother did has a name. It is called Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS). It is sad that so many men/women resort to this. A child needs both parents and should grow up to form their own opinions good, bad or indifferent. I am a custodial Stepmom and deal with a deadbeat bio mom. She is getting better but it has been difficult for my stepkids and my family assimilating into a cohesive family unit. A note: it happens in ALL races and is not just a black thing.
