I saw Curtis on the schedule to fight early this year, but I think the card was scrapped.  I was ringside for the fight with Brinkley and it was a brutal fight for both fighters. I think the time off was good for Curtis. I'll tell you this, if Curtis came for a long fight instead of expecting a knockout he would have won this fight

Good point sweetchuckpro, curtis is a heckuva fighter when he in shape. People appreciate him more that way. Truth be told curtis` hood have more fighters coming up but dont forget curtis helped bring the youth of brownsville boxing back and it expanded to danny jacobs, travis peterkin ect. Curtis led the pack. People shouldnt forget that, and curtis shouldnt forget either.

We all know this kid carried brownsville on his shoulders for a minute. Danny, travis, none of these cats had that burden. Curt still young, he just gotta get back in the gym, or if he is in the gym, then make a comeback.

Curt is a kid. I wish him well. Its a crazy sport. His uncle did a good job. Once the chains are broken.......good luck curt.

I jus feel Curtis is and should have been a great fighter one day before he retire. Havent seen him since Brinkley and he needs to fight. He is still the YNIC of B ville in my eyes. This kid once reeked of greatness. We need not forget that, and neither should curtis forget.

Curtis faced alot of backlash, some deserved, MOST not deserved. This is a time for healing. I havent seen this kid fight. He is supposed to be the young prospect fron B ville, NO ONE ELSE. Danny, Trevor, non of em. And thats why people a pissed cause Curtis couldve treated us 2 greatness. His uncle messed him up with broken promises of greatness.

i also followed curtis cuz im from brooklyn to and i met jaidon and collazzo he cool but i think some of the brooklyn fighters lose focus .but wait til my son get it on he is 11 and we are from BUSHWICK check out his video JIJE so for all my black and puerto rican people show support.
