The Doctor's Goodbye (to Rose)

The Doctor has to say his farewell to his beloved Rose in the last scene of the fourth series. (Heart breaking). I simply thought they would /should remember their lives together. Before he leaves her in the parallel universe with the half doctor. To never see her again.

Some explanation for people who didnt see all of the episodes

EXPLANATION SECOND DOCTOR:

The Doctor had his hand cut off in the first episode of the second season.
The doctor is dying in the end and because he doesn't want to change again, he redirected al his regeneration energy in to the hand (which is in a jar on the Tardis). When it got touched by a human female (Donna, a companion of the doctor, fourth series), he became alive. The cut of hand became part time lord, part-human

SUMMARY

- In the first scene is some explanation already.

The clip begins at Bad Wolf Bay in the parallel universe. After the war The Doctor brought, against the will of his harts, rose and Jackie back. Rose has to stay otherwise both universes could collide and break down. But he leaves her with the half doctor so she can life with him, because he has only one hart and also one life.

Rose believes there can only be one doctor and doesn't want to stay, the doctor says they have the same thought same memories. So he says his goodbye by making her remember their lifes and adventure together one more time.
Even the first time they had to say goodbye where Rose got the chance to say how she felt but the doctor didn't, he just said her name. Not because he didnt want to but because he couldnt.

At the end of the clip the half doctor whispers to Rose that he loves her, relishing that the real Doctor could never say that because she knows he still has to leave her at some point cause he never grows old, she kisses the half Doctor knowing he will and can spend his entire life with her.

The doctor sees an opening to leave without saying really the word's "goodbye" because it would hurt even more, he goes and is again feeling lonely. But knows that Rose is happy, living her life to the full with the half doctor who shall grow old with her. But he will still miss her.
