Summarizing the recent event on the roof of the world without the bias as practiced by the major western media powerhouses. This is a virtual visit at the street level, and getting close (maybe too close) to the some of the hapless victims. Hear it from some Lhasa Tibetan resident in these footages.

  • As a person who has traveled to China on several occassions the past few years (work in entertainment field), I can say with absolute utmost certainty that Chinese people in the cities, particularly in Beijing and Guangzhou, KNOW WAY MORE ABOUT US AMERICANS AND OUR LIFESTYLES THAN WE KNOW ABOUT THEM! I find that this disparity come from the allure of American pop culture and readily accessible material, pirated and otherwise. Free speech is compromised when citizens ignore facts+taught to hate.

  • DeathberryLove: "this is retarded. they want peace and freedom... so they go and burn down their own/other buildings and land.really smart tibet..."

The so-called "Dalai-clique" as generally described by China's media, are apparently Tibetan-Buddhist-Fundalmentalists who don't support, or may not even be aware of the realities behind the post-1958 liberalism, and the downfall of the conservative's cruel old-world serf-system of society. Throw in some western-backed bias and hate, and voila!

  • Free speech doesn't mean for people in the "free world" to slander/deface or otherwise demonize other people/countries through biased disclosure of information.

Since it appears that people of the "Free Tibet camp" are educated primarily through the channels of CNN, BBC, Newsweek, FOX, and other well-contrived BS, those media powerhouses MUST be responsible and practice common decency through truthful journalism & unbiased education of the masses; or our democratic example is badly compromised.

  • The CIA trained Tibetans from 1957 to 1972, in the United States, and parachuted them back into Tibet to organize rebellions against the PLA. But with little support from fellow Tibetans they often fell to the hands of the PLA quickly. In one incident, one agent was immediately reported by his own brother and all three agents in the team were arrested. They were not mistreated. After less than a month of propaganda sessions they were escorted to the Indian border and released.

  • Finally! Some real journalism! I'm sick of western media journalism if real journalism even still exists anymore.

  • Agents of the Chinese People´s Liberation Army, the PLA, posing as monks triggered the riots.

  • @RakeBone

    I'm from Canada.

  • @RakeBone Why such vitriol in your words? Can we all get along? Even as a comparison of Moral standards, the history of the US etc, has nothing to do with China and Tibet, so we can forget about the smoke screen. Trying to lecture me on the true meaning of "Freedom", is inherently ludicrous and laughable. Have you ever been outside of China? Would you like too?

  • @FulinYu

lol, if u think that China is in a bad economic position just think of America and Hawaii's relationship

After the many posts we had back and forth I can tell u are brainwashed into thinking that China is some "Axis of Evil" and that ur some "American Hero"

Tibet is apart of China more than Hawaii will ever be apart of America

Buddishm is the religion of Tibet AND that of China. The culture Tibet is also presevered, unlike ur aboriginal "Friends"

    You fail on every level.

  • It's time for Tibet to live in freedom again, free from the Han of tyranny and suppression.

  • @RakeBone Let's talk about the Yuan. It looks like inflation is rising in China, which is especially harsh on poor people since the price of food is on the rise. The Yuan inflation is due to a number of issues, but most importantly is corruption and influx of US dollars.

  • @FulinYu

    and here is an fyi

CNN, BBC, along wif many other news outlet within America have created media distortion about the Tibetian riots.

One example is them posting pictures of Nepalian Milltia attacking civilians claiming that they are Chinese. Nepal is another country that borders China and their uniform is different from that of China's

I am not making any of this up, you can look this all online

  • @RakeBone Yes, ugliness has already lost, so prepare for the future.

  • @FulinYu

u're so called "freedom" and "American soil" Is one which involved the invasion of another Country and the destruction of their people. I ask you how many aboriginal people do u see in America?

    Don't talk.

You're liberity is nothing more than invasion mascurating as freedom or maybe, that is what the word "liberity" actually means

    Prepare for the future

because EVERYONE already know whos the real troll of this world
