@MisterPapageno The English word is stupidities and please don't demand that I stop writing anything. This is a free forum and I have every right to voice my opinion whether you think they are stupid or not. You don't control me, this forum, or the world. Nor do you seem to have a divine right to channel Rossini. I do not think this young man's voice is very good, period. If you don't like that, lump it.

I do not like the emission of the sound, that sounds rather artificial too me and I can hear you rather strive emitting it(I can give this opinion by the out-of-pitch notes that sometimes affects the whole singing line). I wish you to find your real voice!

@Sotzume @Sotzume "then you will hear the version Rossin, himself, would have willingly accepted."
Please, do not write nonsense: Rossini wrote this piece for female CONTRALTO.
He knew there were countertenors at his time, so if he really wanted to write this piece for countertenors, he would have done it!
Stop writing such stupities!

sotzume said: "Please listen to the David Daniels video...then you will hear the version Rossin, himself, would have willingly accepted." thats incorrect.

So what

Rossini would NOT have accepted this, or David Daniels, this is Contralto pants role, he didnt intend for a man to sing it.
Bene, bella voce mi piace il colore e soprattuto bravo perché l'aria è molto difficile! Di dove sei??

I admire this tenor for trying..but the voice is simply subpar. Please listen to the David Daniels video...then you will hear the version Rossin, himself, would have willingly accepted. I'm sure the countertenor here was inspired by Daniels and I applaud him, but he voice, itself, is inferior.

thank you for applause and admiration. This tenor (who is not a tenor) is not in competition with David Daniels (great voice and technic and all my admiration). And he knows that his voice is inferior to the DD's voice. There is a lot of people who has an inferior voice then him. I am sure that this "tenor" was not inspired by him otherwise. And I know that this "tenor" sings not as job or first and unique occupation.

I am a soprano, I want to say that the lyric way to sing is always a "non natural" register.
if you sing in falsetto, the overtones are ovvioulsy present.
impressive big voice indeed. bravo!
