This one was a really fun one to do. As is (hopefully) obviously apparent, this piece was inspired by those classic espionage, etc., TV shows of the 60's and early 70's, like "The Prisoner", "The Avengers", "Danger Man", "The Persuaders", etc. Shows of the 60's and early 70's were always so much fun, and I wanted to reflect that fun, but "dangerous", feel of that era of television. It was largely inspired by John Barry's work on "The Persuaders" (plus, most of his compositions from the 60's) and Jerry Goldsmith's work, specifically on "Our Man Flint" & "In Like Flint".
It would be fun to, someday, possibly turn this into a real production. Perhaps an on-going audio series? Heck, maybe I could sell it to BBC Radio :-D
As always my thanks goes out to the awesome people out there who put these soundfonts (instruments) together and to Gabriel Fernandez (http://www.gfsoftware.com), all for making it possible for people like me to express themselves musically. If it weren't for you all I'd still be restricted to just HUMMING and whistling original tunes, only to forget them in a week's time.
