Hymn Time # 37 with Arvin Wynn and a real classic song with Dad Speer singing "Never Grow Old" Hope and pray that you will enjoy this look back at a real true man of God.This is the un- cut video of this classic song.I guess i would have to also say of all the videos that I have I love this one best of all .I always end up with my eyes filled .I just have always loved the Speers and I remember them on tv when I was just a kid and one of the first gospel records I ever owned was a record with several Speers songs on it.I am for sure this song will also bless you as you watch. I am so so happy to share this full uncut tape of this classic song. God bless the great many years that the Speer family blesssed us all with some truly great classic songs. Thank you Speers.
Dad Speer was George Thomas Speer born in 1891 and died in 9-7-1966 and Mom Speer was Lena Brock Speer and was born 11-4-1899 and died 10-6-1967

  • My Uncle Harold just passed away and this was his favorite song. :( Thank you and bless you for posting this.

  • @LovemyLeo1 You are so welcome, and I will remember you in prayer.

  • Thank you so much for these videos. I was so excited to see my cousin, Charles Yates, standing right there by Mom Speer. He sung tenor with the Speers in the sixties. Thanks and God bless you. I hope you find more of these older Speer videos.

  • You are very welcome, however I think this is about all the older ones I have, I do have some tapes still on the missing list and maybe something will show up on a older tape.God bless .

  • @Earnhardt3Maniac it is, theres also the Blackwoods London Parris, Doy Ott from the Statesmen is there

  • The video quality is a little poor but I think that may also be the Big Chief James Wetherington in the front singing bass as well! That would fit considering that Jack and Rosie were in it and they were all in the Statesmen at about the same time! That makes this video a real southern gospel classic with Dad Speer and the Statesmen!

  • If you look closely in this video, you'll see a really young Jack Toney and a young Rosie Roselle in the choir group. Jack is in the front, Rosie in the back.

  • Wonderful. Those associated with these dear folks were indeed privileged

  • I just found out that I'm a distant relative of Dad Speer. This is amazing that these songs are still available via YouTube. Thanks for posting them. My mother used to sing some of these songs as part of the singing Rushing family! God bless you!

  • Arvin--thank you for posting these old videos!
