@HeyBartenderOne Wah Wah you suck, not only did it not twist, but you will go through tons of lemons this way. You should cut both ends off, hollow out the lemon with a spoong then roll the whole peal like a cigarette and cut strips off. It's easy and you'll get about 15 twists. Your welcome.

You can get channel knives almost anywhere now. A lot of supermarkets actually carry a zester and channel knife in the produce section where they keep all the citrus fruits. There are also different types of channel knives, they have different shapes (e.g. flat, round, triangular) and they have different gauges (i.e. the depth of which the knife will cut), but these you'd have to get at specialty store.
I normally just use a paring knife or a standard peeler to get only the zest; no pith

@Paullee000 Hey Paul, you're right you can get channel knives in many places, the ones we use are favourited by mixologist because of their design and the type of twist or zest they create. I have tried dozens of different channel knives over the years, and these ones are consistently the best.
