This is the first recording I made of my pianola, so it may interest you to compare this with the one after I repaired the bellows and replaced the tubing. Note what's wrong. There are two keys permanently depressed, owing to perished tubes; notes that do not play; the tempo is all over the place; the tracking is so maladjusted and valve leathers worn, I had to do it manually, having initially fixed a piece of wood in to jam the bellows, and; the tuning and tone isn't too sharp. But it was a starting point, and from here, it was a journey of discovery - and one of a lot of hard work, swearing (note the sticking plaster over the wound on my thumb, caused by a screwdriver that slipped and tore off skin near my nail! Ooh!) it all paid off in the end... but the journey continues!
