How about reading the deeply spiritual and TRULY Christian Sebastian Castellio ,, His, and the many other expressions of horror at what Calvin did, completely put the lie to your argument that everybody was killing each other in those days so it was fine for Calvin. Listen to Castellio:

She said that heresy and blasphemy were regularly punished by deat!?? That is a total disgusting lie !! ,, the Reformation was BUILT on the foundation that a church had no right to put heretics to death (which is what the Catholics were doing). And the severest punishment on the statute books for heresy in Geneva at that time was,,,, expulsion. Check it out. Shame on her. Bearing false witness. Calvin wanted Servetus dead and he trumped up charges to commit an unspeakable murder

Wow, did she actually just say that Servetus did not believe Jesus was divine?? And she is a "doctor"?? Pathetic, pathetic. Servetus was rock solid on Jesus' divinity! What laziness - it takes just a couple of minutes to google things like this these days.

You are correct, Servetus did not deny the deity of Christ.

"I shall admit these three things: first, this man is JESUS CHRIST; second, he is the Son of God; third, he is God."

Servetus didnt deny the deity of Christ. He was a modalist. Dr Karin Maag should check her facts before she gives lectures.
