@Aidankiwi they do not carry the provincial Ulster flag as it has a yellow background and has a white shield with the red hand within it. Also the Northern Ireland flag does not have a union flag in the upper hoist quadrant, although it does have a crown above the red hand and the shield is replaced with a star.

Why do so many of the bands carry the provincial Ulster Flag when 1/3 of the counties of Ulster are in the Republic? They should be carrying the Northern Ireland flag which is similar to the Ulster flag except it has the Union Flag in the upper hoist quadrant.
