LXForums.com... vast amount of knowledge there. A ton of people have done a v6 to hemi swap. Depending on which tranny you have in there now, you might not need to swap transmissions.

We've not gotten her on a dyno yet, but estimated about 600 hp at the crank and about 500 rwhp. I don't see any 20" or other wheels in it's future though, it's all about going fast for this one.

is that a carbon srt hood or is it just unpainted..thx and do you know if they make carbon srt hoods without the pins

I think it's a carbon fiber hood made by "Carbon by Design" hood. They come without the hood pins, but the pins are recommended. The standard latch tends to "release" at highway / track speeds.

how much was the stroker and everything installed?

We did the install, I don't know what the short block cost. The heads, intake manifold etc was removed from the 6.1 and put on the stroker. The heads are HHP stage 2 heads and the intake manifold is ported and polished.

dude! looks like all great men think alike! please you gotta send me some tips on how to do a swap like this. i wanna do this to my 3.5 sxt because im a dodge guy! i couldnt afford the HEMI, but i found my holy grail! engine swaps amd tramsmissions swaps would be great.

i think the 20 inch SRT rims look amazing on the charger, how much power does she make?

love the car and the way it sounds but dude......you have got to change those wheels for something better.....
