5/6. The Chase between two Dutch Intercities (Mikis Theodorakis: "The Chase" - Nicos Hatzopoulos)

This part 5 of 6 takes you into "The Chase" between two intercities on the same traject towards Eindhoven, just before arriving in Best and entering the tunnel there.
"The Chase" is also the title of a part of the movie "Z" (Ζεί 1969). The music for this movie has been composed by Mikis Theodorakis (July 29, 1925). He is a world famous and beloved Greek musician, composer and politician.
Nicos Hatzopoulos is a world famous Greek Violin Master.

The life and death of Gregoris Lambrakis inspired the author Vassilis Vassilikos to write the political novel "Z".

The title stands for the first letter of the Greek word "Zei" ("[He] Lives!"), a popular graffito which began to appear on the walls of the buildings of the Greek cities in the 1960s, illustrating the growing protest against the conditions that led to the assassination of Lambrakis.
In 1969, the Greek-French film director Costa-Gavras (Κώστας Γαβράς) made the film Z, which was a great success.
Yves Montand starred as Lambrakis, Jean-Louis Trintignant as investigator Sartzetakis and Irene Papas as Lambrakis's widow.
