    Yes, kids, Leslie Nielsen is in a disaster movie. No, it is not a spoof. He really was a very good dramatic actor once -- which is why he was cast in "Airplane!" in the first place.

    I always imagined that since this was an Irwin Allen Production that the first draft of the script had a huge monster capsizing the ship instead of a giant wave. If you are young and don't know, Irwin Allen was famous for cheesy monsters in alot of his shows, like Lost in Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
