Step inside a 2010 base Camaro V6

Here's a look around the BASE interior of the 2010 V6 Camaro. Note at the very end, there is a quick look at the"flappy-paddle gearbox" shift butons on the steering wheel. Impressive car. GM has hit a home-run with this vehicle.

Chevy really needs to fix the interior. Hell, put the Malibu's interior in there. Anything looks better than what they have now.

@GamertownUSA I agree. the dash and center console look like shit. the concept was awesome but this crap here is disgusting. I'd even go so far as to say that it looks worse than the old interior. This is exactly why GM is in the fucked up position that they are. Adults are not interested in any car today that has a Fisher price fit & finish. As much as I hate Ford, I would honestly buy the mustang over the camaro because of this stupid looking interior!

@bronxboyXXX It was a matter of cost. The money on this car was spent on the body design and engineering, which is quite better than the Mustang re-hash. Do your research on the engineering and get back to me.

@ybdiffrent They could have at the very least make it an option like GM does with its V series Cadillacs. People are willing to pay thousands extra for higher levels of interior. if they weren't BMW, Mercedes and several Japanese car manufactures would have probably been driven out the US Market in the 80s when GM's interiors were at their all time low.

@bronxboyXXX Good point, and agreed. When it was first made, it was a question how sales would go. Now that its taken off, there ~may~ be some upgrade options coming down the line....and/or aftermarket solutions.

@GamertownUSA The car was designed specifically to NOT have the same interior as the other cars. Dash aside (polarizing), the overall look and build quality of the seats, door panels, etc is WAY better than any other previous Camaro.

The official GM name for the feature is TAPshift. Yes, the feature can be relegated within the more generic "paddle shifter" reference, but your statement is fundamentally incorrect.

I am about rdy to purchase a 2012 camaro. It is actually very nice inside. Not sure why everyone is ripping into the camaro so much?? However, I find a lot of comments on u tube are filled with a bunch of haters on a lot differnt cars. That said, a lot of jelous people out there like to look at nice cars and then write hate comments. If you are searching on u tube for cars..u probably like the car your researching. If your jelous, then you like to bash it.
