Love this! The entire class was engaged! There was a plethora of learning objective occurring. It is important to incorporate movement into learning.

How long can this last for?? How long are these kids going to want to repeat everything the teacher/student leader has to say? I'm sorry, but this whole thing is crazy.

@brandeanne Perform. Nevermind. Got so irritated, I can't type, either. These are children who are enjoying learning. So much of early school work is just rote memorization. This at least makes it fun for the kids.

@mrsksmith58 I would hope that someone teaching gifted students would be able to spell "perfom" correctly!

you've got to be kidding! She's a joke.

I teach gifted children & found this little display of sing-song-dribble to be nauseating. The children and teacher alike are preforming liked trained monkeys; the only reason the children are "engaged" is because they are probably administered an electric shock if they don't respond to Ms. Weigel's bizarre commands on cue. How is this remotely connected to "Whole Brain Learning"? Or any learning? Lots of noise & repetition, lean on learning. Gross-i-ty Gross, makes teachers look ridiculous.

Looks unreal, more like a over-rehearsed skid!

are there any more videos of this particular teacher? She is awesome!

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS.
The kids don't get to think for themselves. She had them repeat everything except for the 17 seconds they had to teach each other why doubles are important and of course they were told to do that. No real thinking going on in there, just memorizing.
