You guys should be called "failurevillage" cuz you're not special at anything.

This is obsolete color theory. Artists cling to it, because it's what "the masters" used. But the masters didn't have access to magenta and cyan pigments.
-
this is good if you like washed out colours because the real primary colours of pigment are magenta cyan and yellow thats why she thinks yellow is brighter its because its one of the real primary's

@sjkdec18 that's if your generating the light (like a computer screen or a tv)
however, if your reflecting light, like off of a painting, yellow then takes green's place as a primary color. I clicked on this video hoping for a further explanation of why this is the way it is; as i don't completely understand it either. I guess my search shall continue =)

red and green make yellow

yeah... this isn't really a "colour theory" video when she says nothing can make up yellow. Additively yellow is made by green and red. This should be called a painters primary video.

YOU CAN!!! get red and blue by mixing other coulours: mixing yellow with magenta produces red, and mixing magenta with cyan produces blue!

@peperonyandchease HHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHH RETARD HAHAH

@peperonyandchease green is not a primary color. Stop saying green is a primary colors. And what does traffic lights have to do with anything.

Don' t agree with this. For me the primaries are yellow, magenta and cyan. The secondaries are red-orange, blue-violet, green.
I've always had this discussion with Physics students for over 30 years. Primary colors are red, green and blue. Primary pigments are magenta, yellow and cyan.
