Resto Shaman Healing Guide 4.2 (PVE)

Hi guys jake here back from a break of making videos, and stuff so i decided to do a guide on how to heal. some people may see this as incorrect but i can assure you i can pull about 15k hps on Firelands with no mana issues on any bosses except Beth'tilac because of the damage the tank takes on top phase 1

Anyway here is a guide to my talents works great and how to heal
1. My build : Ingnore the Standard gear its getting there but as i will mention it works fine 4 me :) http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/alonsus/Thefure/advanced
2. Hw for any 1 below -20k hp and GHW for any 1 below -40k hp
3. use riptide all the time so allowing haste and mana regen proc's
4. chain heal for 3+ ppl taking dmg -20k hp
5. healing rain for stacking and aoe dmg ie, P1 Beth'tilac after the devastation

Caps needed for healing.
916 haste then stack so with water sheild and glyph you have 3k combat mana regen self buffed and you should be fine then reforge and stack mastery, Gem for Interlect and Spirit so purified dimond eye and Brilliant and then for a orange or yellow socket use the 20 mastery and 20 interlect gem.

Mastery plays a huge role as healing with resto shamans.
Furthermore Use Earthliving weapon before Chain heal and you will notice a difference.

Glyph of water shield massively recomeded as 531 mp5 is sicccckkk!!

As i said this works for me and other shamans in my guild we are doing well and getting nice progress i do not see any problems thanks guys :)

If you dont like this talent build then spec so when you cast lightning bolt it regens your mana, for this i recomend stacking haste!

@zordor123 Aha more please respond comments, Please Read the Description as i have explained it all My Char i have moved which is now Thefure on Alonsus EU, But in answer to your question if you are raid healing or Tank healing, you will need 916 haste and the Rest mastery, :P Thanks and please sub ;p

Don't go for Mastery. I personally think Crit, More Crits = More heals, more mana. And Reforge out of Crit into Haste.

@zJmie You Sound very lost my friend, I shall help you :) Right You Will need 916 Haste, Then Reforge everything you can Besides Spirit and haste into mastery on every item of gear if you can :) without loosing your 916 haste, Let your Crit come with your gear. So IGNORE CRIT, As i said Please look at the description for help, Socket 40 int In everyslot Unless the bounus gives you int then you should socket 20 mast 20 int or 20 spriit 20 int, Int is more important but i need 2800 Sprit capincomb

So just to clear things out.

Check out elitistjerks for the haste table.

And crit vs mastery, all depends on your raid setup. Running with 25man, they say that crit can be slightly better. All depends on your raid style.

I find mastery slightly more useful, as I don't put my trust on RNG

@SouthernGamerz Well my Crit chance is 30%, I have no problems with Firelands, End up with full mana at the end and have 14khps. My spirit is 3485 - 4k mana regen in combat. I really don't care about the haste, my haste is 224, I think 1.7 second Greaters and Healing Waves are just great just the way they are. Mastery is pretty useless in PvE.. You will NEVER get someone low in health, incase someone does something wrong, which my never happens, My standard mastery is 526, that's 32%. ThanksBye

@SouthernGamerz What secondary stat you focus and how much spirit you take is completely dependent on who you're healing and what content you are taking on. There is no clear cut "stack this stat or else you're dumb" stat. Mastery is really only good for certain fights or if the raid you're healing isn't highly geared/first time seeing a boss and you can expect people to drop very low. when the vast majority of the fight doesn't involve near raid wiping mechanics, crit or haste will win out.

whats the rotation? i just dont get it!

how much spirit u have?

all i got good are my totems LOL.. thats not enough QQ..

BTW i stack more spirit that intel.. wich ones more important?
