I agree with you, but the fact of the matter is, that THIS little boy is going to grow up at be a head of state! So having him socializing with other kids, HIS people! Is simply clever thinking.

@MeltedPearls I agree with you! I'm Bermudian-we have the same ideals as the U.S. but I guess Denmark is different. To me I don't get why they'd put him in daycare when it's not necessary! He's only a baby-his mom should be caring for him.

I understand them wanting him to socialize with other kids and be 'normal' but they could have waited a couple of years-even until he was say age 3. At his little age he should be cared for by his mom-this seems stupid to me but to each his own I guess...

@MeltedPearls They want to give him the most normal life as possible. Mothers in Denmark put their children at daycare, so they can grow up and make "friends". We have many private daycares in Denmark, and there is usually six kids. It's a great chance to make new friends, and live a happy normal life, so that's why Mary and Frederik put him in daycare, so he could live like a normal person, and make new friends :)
