  • I wonder if Global had fake blimps and Canadian Tire billboards on their NFL telecasts back then.

  • I noticed they used the British spelling of "programme" (two mm's) in the slide.

  • @LessonNumber1 i guessed so.

  • is it replaced by the queen's speach instead?

  • According to wikipedia

This was on September 17. Bills were at

home playing Miami, Bills Lost 21-7

  • 1. Music from beginning to 0:11? It sounds like an American campaign.

    2. What was the 'blacked out' Monday night game, and did Global ever purchase rights from ABC for the 83-84 and/or 84-85 season (MNF moved to ESPN in 2005)?

  • The Global TV ID at the beginning, the words Global Television Network disappear, and G is shown without the words. RARE!!

  • were the bills playing that week

  • o noez i will not be watching football :(

  • He was THE voice of Global (and some of its programs) through the 80s and 90s... also a voice actor, perhaps best known as the voice of "Bulletproof" Vess on the cartoon series "C.O.P.S."

  • Ken Ryan.

  • Anybody know who the VO is?
