  • A very nice performance, and glad for a chance to hear this version. But, compared with the revision, the original seems more choppy and, at times formulaic. In the later version, Brahms keeps the first subject, but the movement hangs together more tightly.

  • so the two versions of this, this is the much rarer first version composed when Brahms was only 21, and which he did not revisit til his late 50s. Which do people prefer? This recording is so much harder to find!

  • I like it very much...on 6th of may we will play it:) excited!!!
